Beyond Boundary / A Multidisciplinary Media Art Project

"Beyond Boundary" project is an immersive video installation and performance that explores memory, identity, and gender-based violence through projection mapping and spatial audio. Inspired by Theresa Hak Kyung Cha and her seminal work Dictée (1982), the project intertwines poetic narratives, shamanistic rituals, and digital landscapes to honor her legacy and the resilience of Asian women.

Using 'water' as a symbol of purification and renewal, the work reinterprets traditional Korean rituals, transforming space into a site of remembrance and healing. Through physical and virtual encounters, "Beyond Boundary"  transcends time and space, inviting audiences into a dialogue on gender, migration, and cultural memory.
